New Tricks/Random Recent Pictures
Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'... Our little ball of cute is 4 months old now, and he's learned a few new tricks. First of all, he's started rolling over from his back to his belly. Problem is, he can't quite make it from his belly to his back. And he doesn't really like being on his belly, so we go through the following routine every 2 minutes:
He's also been laughing a lot, which is, for us, the best thing ever. He particularly likes belly raspberries, nibbling on his toes and pretending to gobble his neck. It's amazing how, in one simple sound, we have the culmination of all of the trials it took to get to this point. How this little act of joy from him encapsulates the intense feelings of joy we get from him.
Anyway, here is a random selection of recent pictures. Hope you enjoy!
- Place baby on back
- Baby promptly rolls over to belly
- Baby gets annoyed that he's on belly and begins crying
- Pick up baby and go back to step one

Male Pattern Baldness?
Isn't it really early for our son to start going bald?
Atticus was born with a full head of dark, curly hair. We were told all along that he might loose this hair, but we didn't expect it to go in such a familiar, middle-aged, testosterone driven pattern!
First, his hairline started to recede, and that-- coupled with the ridges on his head from where his skull plates are fusing-- has lead to an alarming new look.

Atty's Oldest Friend
Atticus went on his first "play date" today with the little guy who will, later in life, be referred to as his oldest friend: Phineas. Phin was born only a couple of weeks after Atty to our friends Billy and Jackie. And here are the pictures we'll show their girlfriends when they're all getting ready to go to Prom together:
