Gear Up!

It's really unbelievable how much stuff you need and want when getting ready for a baby! Fortunately for us, we have wonderful friends and family who so generously made that fact much less daunting by throwing us a shower!

On May 20th (I know, we're very slow bloggers), our friends Linda, Diane and Mossy graciously hosted the event at Linda's house and we had an awesome time. The support we've had from everyone has been great, and the gifts were just overwhelming! We got almost all of the big ticket items- a crib, a stroller/car seat system, a jumper and a pack-n-play. We also got a lot of adorable clothes, bath stuff and linens. Not to mention: 4 sizes of monkey! (I've posted some pics below.)

All in all, we're feeling a lot more prepared on the "stuff" front. We have the pack-n-play set up in our bedroom, which will serve as Atty's first home. We have the stroller/car seat system put together, which will get him home from the hospital. And Jodi has the apparatus for feeding pre-installed so betwixt those things, he's pretty set up when he gets here!
